Tim Pearson - Artist

I was born in Perth, educated at Hale School and inspired by my

art teacher Robert Juniper. I went on to study graphic design and fine art

at WAIT/Curtin University where I later taught.

There followed a career as an illustrator, an art director, and a

creative director in the advertising industry in Perth, Melbourne and

Nairobi, Kenya.

After returning from Africa a decade ago I resumed my love of painting

and drawing. As I’ve always felt a spiritual kinship with our native bushland,

this became the subject matter for many of my works while life drawing,

sketching dancers and the occasional portrait made up the balance.

Along the way I’ve also enjoyed teaching what I practice and mentoring

young creatives.
My last exhibition ‘Landscape and Life’ was at Next Generation Kings Park.
My works are mostly held in private collections.
